BSS, Dhaka — Philippines Ambassador to Bangladesh Nina P Cainglet on 2 September 2026 sought Bangladesh's cooperation in the pharmaceuticals sector, utilising the capabilities of Bangladesh's pharmaceutical industry — a diplomatic engagement that could open a significant new export market for Bangladeshi pharma companies.

The envoy sought the cooperation when she paid a courtesy call on Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain at his office at the Secretariat.
