📋 Biography

Abdul Muktadir is the Chairman & Managing Director of Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd, one of Bangladesh's largest pharmaceutical companies. He was elected President of the Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (BAPI) in March 2025 for the 2025-2027 term.

BAPI was established in 1972 with 23 member companies and today has 149 member companies. It is the only recognized association of pharmaceutical manufacturers in Bangladesh. The pharmaceutical sector is one of Bangladesh's most important export industries, with Bangladesh exporting medicines to over 150 countries.

Under Muktadir's leadership, BAPI focuses on policy advocacy, export promotion, and ensuring the pharmaceutical industry's continued growth. Bangladesh's pharmaceutical market is projected to surpass $6 billion by 2025.
