🚀 Founding Story

Ayman Sadiq (born September 2, 1992) is a Bangladeshi educator and entrepreneur who graduated from IBA (Dhaka University). In 2015, he launched 10 Minute School — initially as a YouTube-based initiative offering concise, curriculum-aligned lessons. The format was revolutionary in Bangladesh's education landscape, where students traditionally relied on expensive after-school coaching centers concentrated in major cities.

Ayman was later joined by Abdullah Abyad Raied as co-founder. Together, they built 10 Minute School into the largest learning app in Bangladesh, democratising access to high-quality education for millions of students across the country. Ayman is also a recipient of the Queen's Young Leader Award (recognized by the British monarchy for exceptional young leaders across the Commonwealth).

10 Minute School has raised significant venture capital from top-tier investors:

• 🌱 2021 (November) — $2 million seed funding from Surge (Sequoia Capital India's rapid scale-up programme). This made 10 Minute School the first EdTech company in Bangladesh to secure funding from Surge.
• 💰 2022 (Pre-Series A) — $5.5 million pre-Series A round — the highest seed-stage funding for a Bangladeshi EdTech startup at the time.
