Bangladesh Association of International Recruiting Agencies (BAIRA) is one of the largest trade bodies in Bangladesh, affiliated with the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI). It was established in 1984 to cater to the needs of licensed recruiting agencies that promote the manpower market abroad and deploy unemployed Bangladeshi manpower in foreign countries. Currently BAIRA has about 2000 Government Approved Recruiting Agents as its members. Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (BAPI) is the apex body representing the pharmaceutical companies of Bangladesh. Established in 1972, BAPI has been playing a pivotal role in developing the pharma sector and promoting access to affordable drugs; its 154 member companies supply roughly 98% of the country's pharmaceutical requirement. The Bangladesh Association of Publicly Listed Companies (BAPLC) is an apex body representing companies listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE). BAPLC advocates for the interests of publicly listed companies, promotes good corporate governance, supports capital market development, and serves as a collective voice for the listed company sector in policy dialogues with the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), stock exchanges, and other regulatory bodies. The association is currently led by President Rupali Haque Chowdhury, who also serves as Managing Director of Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited and President of the Foreign Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI).
