Bangladesh Furniture Industries Owners Association (BFIOA), also known as Bangladesh Furniture Shilpa Malik Samity (BFSMS), is the prime association of the furniture sector in Bangladesh. Established in 1976, the association is very much active as a business association with a view to deliver support to its over 1,300 listed members from different parts of the country. The regional committees of BFIOA, elected by the producers of different regions, are the representatives of the SMEs for their regions and the implementing bodies of the action plans taken up by BFIOA. The association is governed by a 34-member Executive Committee elected every four years by direct voting of all members.
