Bangladesh Agro-Processors Association (BAPA) is the apex trade body representing the agro-processing sector — one of the topmost thrust sectors in Bangladesh as per the export policy of the Government of Bangladesh. BAPA has been promoting the sector through all activities with the cooperation of government and non-government organizations. With the continuous increase of production and export, BAPA members organize Foodpro (the premier food processing exhibition in Bangladesh) and participate in the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) annually. BAPA is playing an active role in skill development and food safety by arranging meetings, training sessions, seminars, workshops, and inspirational motivation for stakeholders in the agro-processing industry. The stakeholders maintain safety throughout the supply chain of food from field to table for quality products so that exports meet international standards. Bangladesh Association of International Recruiting Agencies (BAIRA) is one of the largest trade bodies in Bangladesh, affiliated with the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI). It was established in 1984 to cater to the needs of licensed recruiting agencies that promote the manpower market abroad and deploy unemployed Bangladeshi manpower in foreign countries. The Bangladesh Association of Publicly Listed Companies (BAPLC) is an apex body representing companies listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).
