Bangladesh Shrimp and Fish Foundation (BSFF)

Bangladesh Shrimp And Fish Foundation (BSFF) is a non-profit private organization focused on research, advocacy and targeted actions at all levels of the value chain in the fisheries sector, aquaculture and shrimp industry. The organization was registered in 2003 under the Trust Act 1882 and started functioning from June 2003. BSFF plays a crucial role in promoting sustainable practices, improving productivity, and enhancing the competitiveness of Bangladesh's fisheries and aquaculture sectors. The foundation works closely with stakeholders including government agencies, private sector entities, and international organizations to develop policies, implement projects, and build capacity within the industry. Their activities span from production to market access, with particular emphasis on value addition, quality standards, and market linkages for Bangladeshi shrimp and fish products in both domestic and international markets.
